People who don't own dogs will never understand the joy of owning a dog, nor will they understand the heartache of losing a beloved pet.
After experiencing the pain of losing his dog last year, Allen got another dog, Miz. One morning, Allen took Miz out for his usual morning walk. However, they were chased by a hunting dog, and Miz took off running... and got lost.
For the rest of the day, Allen searched for Miz in the neighborhood, put up reward posters for his beloved dog, and even brought along Miz's favorite food and toys, but to no avail.

By this time, Allen had prepared for the worst; he assumed Miz was dead inside the fox den. Taking Miz's favorite toy, Allen went to the designated spot. After squeezing Miz's favorite toy at the entrance of the tree hole, he was surprised to hear a very faint response.
So Allen immediately borrowed a shovel and started digging the fox den. As he dug, he saw the Miz's collar.
Alan was devastated to see his beloved dog again. He hugged the dog and cried for more than 10 minutes, the white-haired man like a child, letting his emotions flow freely. Now Alan is working on buying a GPS collar for his dog to prevent the same thing from happening again.
This kind of pain can only be understood by those who have experienced it. I hope every pet owner will take good care of their dog and prevent it from going through such unimaginable suffering...
