In many parts of China, the custom of eating dog meat still exists. So where does this dog meat come from? Is it from stray dogs on the street, lost pets, or even stolen domestic dogs? Whenever I see dogs being transported on the street, I feel heartbroken for their fate!
On August 21st in Taizhou, Jiangsu Province, a netizen was driving when they suddenly noticed a small truck parked next to them. The truck was loaded with dog cages containing various breeds of dogs, including Golden Retrievers, Alaskan Malamutes, and Labradors. Since they only passed by, the netizen had no idea where the truck was headed or what would become of the dogs.
After the video was posted online, a concerned netizen called the police. The police quickly responded, having contacted the car owner through the license plate. The owner stated that the dogs weren't being sent to a dog meat restaurant, but rather to be sold at a pet market. Hearing this, everyone breathed a sigh of relief; the dogs were no longer in danger, and with luck, they might have a happy life. Hopefully, they'll find loving owners!
