However, if a dog becomes a stray and has been hurt, it will become less trusting and more suspicious of the other person's motives. It's a feeling of both fear and a desire to be close! But if you show them kindness, the innocent dog will trust you again, which is why so many people love dogs! Today's story is about a giant poodle that happened in Shandong. It was raining heavily that day, and a friend invited a girl to go mushroom picking, saying that mushrooms would be easier to find in the rain.
So they drove towards their destination. Unexpectedly, just as they were about to reach the mushroom-picking spot, the friend suddenly said, "Why is there a stray dog in front of the car?" The girl looked and saw a large dog standing in front of the car. Soaked by the rain, the dog was dirty and wet, looking very disheveled! It was raining, and she worried the dog might get sick. What if it had been abandoned? How would it survive? So, the woman and her friend discussed it and decided to take the dog to a pet store for a bath and then find it an owner. The woman got out of the car, only to find that the dog had vomited up all the flatbread it had eaten; it was probably sick from the cold. The woman wondered how to get it back into the car and told it to get in.
Surprisingly, the dog understood commands and excitedly tried to hug the girl, then jumped into the car itself! The friend, however, was terrified and quickly got out of the car! Having been bitten by dogs three times before, she was afraid of them and preferred to stay outside in the rain rather than sit with the dog! Actually, neither the girl nor her friend had ever owned a dog, let alone such a large one, so their fear was understandable. The girl tried to get the dog out first, but it stubbornly remained on the car, refusing to get down! As the rain intensified, they finally reluctantly got back into the car and rushed to the nearest vet.
Upon arriving at the hospital, the woman again ordered the dog to get out of the car and shower, and only then did it get out. The staff bathed the dog, shaved its fur, and dewormed it. It ran around the hospital excitedly, as if saying, "Finally, someone cares about me!" The vet said it was a giant poodle, and judging from its matted fur and numerous ticks, it had likely been a stray for some time. However, the woman still decided to try and find it a new owner first; for the dog, returning to its owner would be the best outcome. The girl has already taken the dog home, and it's become familiar with her home environment, going for walks every day and living a happy life!
