A lost cat in the United States spent two months traveling more than 1,200 kilometers on its own. The cat, named Ryan, went missing in early June while traveling with its owner to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. It was spotted on the streets of Roswell, California in early August and was subsequently taken to an animal shelter by a kind person; the two locations are more than 1,280 kilometers apart.

Netizens commented: "Wow, she managed to escape Yellowstone National Park unscathed! Amazing!", "Smart cat!", "1200 kilometers, what a great cat! She's lost a lot of weight!", "Rosewell? Did aliens do this?", "Brave cat, she's not afraid of difficulties!"

It is understood that shelter staff contacted its owner through the microchip implanted in Ryan's body.
