Today's story is about an abandoned Chihuahua puppy that happened in Inner Mongolia. One morning, a woman was taking a walk in her neighborhood when she accidentally found a small dog lying in the roadside greenery!
It was lying in its tattered doghouse, with a few ragged clothes beside it, looking completely weak! This scene led the girl to guess that it had been abandoned. She felt incredibly sorry for it; it probably didn't even know why its owner had abandoned it. All it could do was stay in its doghouse, waiting for its owner to change their mind and come back for it. The girl had a cat at home, so she went home and got it some cat food and milk. The dog must have been starving; it ate everything in no time and drank a lot of water too!
Before long, it was noon. Many passersby noticed the dog, but no one wanted to take it home. Most, like the girl, simply fed it some food and left. Because of the bad weather that day, it looked like it was going to pour rain. The girl was worried it would get wet and sick, so she and her mother made a makeshift doghouse out of cardboard boxes. The dog was clever; it crawled inside and hid. Then came another long wait. The dog was probably just waiting for its owner, unwilling to go anywhere else. How could its owner abandon such a loyal dog!
Although she had made a doghouse for it, the woman was still worried about it. So around 3 PM, she decided to take it away. Since she had a cat, she took it to a relative's house to avoid the rain. When the dog came out to walk, it seemed unsteady on its feet, and she vaguely felt it was sick, although its overall spirits were good. So the woman took it to the vet for a checkup. The results showed the dog had no infectious diseases, and its temperature was normal. The unsteadiness was likely due to a neurological issue. Further examination was needed to determine the specific cause.
The woman took the dog home immediately. Because she was short on energy, she posted an adoption notice, hoping someone could take it to the vet and adopt it. During the two days she temporarily took it in, she cared for it meticulously; it was incredibly well-behaved, the most obedient dog she had ever seen. Fortunately, two days later, someone contacted her and offered to take the dog for examination and treatment. After discussing it with her, she accompanied the person treating the dog to the vet for further tests. The final diagnosis revealed that the dog was suffering from piriformis lobitis (inflammation of the brain's pyriform lobe).
Fortunately, the situation isn't too serious; it only affects the dog's walking and isn't life-threatening. The dog is currently receiving medication at the vet, and we hope for its speedy recovery! Most importantly, we need to find the dog a loving home, ensuring it doesn't suffer like its previous owner and receives a lifetime of happiness!
