Just like humans, cats can sometimes look remarkably alike. When two people look very similar, they're often called twins; similarly, two cats can look remarkably alike. Like this pet owner who discovered a new cat that was competing with their cat for food, and that cat looked just like their cat—their size, markings, and other features were almost identical.
The woman owned an orange and white cat, a typical domestic shorthair. Although it was just a domestic shorthair, the woman cherished it greatly. Since getting the cat, her life had become much better, and she treated it exceptionally well, doing everything she could to be good to it. However, perhaps because it was still young, the orange cat's natural advantages hadn't yet become apparent, and it wasn't very fat.
Every day after get off work, the first thing the woman did was to prepare food and water for her cat so it could have a full stomach. This day was no different; she gave the cat its food and water and then went back to her room to tidy up. However, when she came out in her pajamas, she was completely stunned by what she saw.
What appeared to be one cat had turned into two, and the two cats looked almost identical; it was impossible to tell them apart without close inspection. The woman initially thought she was hallucinating, but after rubbing her eyes several times, the effect remained the same—no change.
The woman then believed that there was indeed a new cat in her house, and this cat looked so much like her own that at first glance she couldn't tell which one was hers. However, she could tell from the cat's behavior. Because her own cat was rather timid, it was at a disadvantage when faced with the cat trying to steal its food and quietly retreated.
The uninvited cat, instead of being overly friendly, immediately started eating from the food bowl, while the owner's cat just sat nearby, watching with pleading eyes, even giving the owner a look of distress. The owner was instantly both amused and exasperated. "So cowardly! Show your usual self!"
Seeing its favorite chicken about to be eaten, the cat finally stretched out its paw to try and snatch it back. But it was no use; after being scolded by the other cat, it became afraid and could only sit obediently and watch the other cat finish its food.
The owner, being a cat lover, felt bad about kicking the cat out, so they could only watch. Finally, to comfort their cat's hurt feelings, the owner fed it again after the other cat left.
It has to be said that these two cats look quite alike, which can be considered a kind of fate.
