On May 19th in Guiyang, Guizhou, a woman was walking her dog when she found a dog lying on the roadside. It wasn't leashed, and there was no owner around. After asking around, she learned that it was a stray dog, abandoned by its owner. It had been abandoned about two months prior, right in the same spot. So the dog stayed there, waiting for its owner to come back, for months on end! During this time, the dog survived thanks to the food given to it by kind people in the neighborhood.
As a pet owner, the woman felt very sorry for the dog. Although she didn't have the energy to raise another dog, she couldn't bear to see it wandering like this. So the next day, she came to take it in, bringing food and a leash. However, the dog was very wary and still didn't want to leave; it wanted to loyally wait for its owner!
