It's truly remarkable that stray dogs can survive in this world! Some of them haven't been spayed or neutered, and when they get pregnant and give birth to puppies while they're on the streets, it's even worse. They can barely feed themselves, let alone raise so many puppies. Without human help, it's really hard for them to survive!
On May 23rd in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, a woman found a family of stray dogs on her way home. Feeling sorry for them, she decided to find them a safe place to shelter them from the wind and rain. Knowing her husband would object, she secretly put them in her storage room. While moving the dogs, she met a man who offered to take care of them. Believing him, she gave him the storage room key, thinking she had met a kind person.
Unexpectedly, the woman later went to the warehouse and found that the entire litter of dogs was missing. When she asked the man where the dogs were, he wouldn't say. Finally, she called the police, and the man managed to get the litter back, but two puppies were still missing; it's unclear whether they were sold or eaten. After the police were called, her husband found out about the situation and advised her to get rid of the stray dogs. The woman had no choice but to try and find them adoptive homes, or even sponsor them. The rescue operation is still ongoing, and we hope all the puppies and their mother can find proper care.
