As everyone knows, dogs are man's best friend. Once they recognize you as their owner, they will never leave you for life because they are extremely loyal and would never betray their dearest person. However, their lifespan is very short compared to humans, only 10-15 years, so we inevitably have to face the death of dogs.

This old dog has been with its owner for ten years. It was raised by its owner when it was very young and has a very deep bond with him. As the days go by, the two of them have been together for ten years. The owner's hair has turned white and the dog has grown old.

The old dog had been unwell recently, refusing to eat or move, preferring to lie down and sleep. Worried about its health, the owner took it to the vet. The vet said it had kidney failure and, being too old, was not suitable for surgery and didn't have much time left, recommending euthanasia.

The owner hesitated for a long time, thinking about how much the dog had suffered from its illness. Although he couldn't live with it anymore, he didn't want to see his old dog suffer, so he finally decided to euthanize it. After signing the agreement, the owner watched as tears streamed down its face. It was a dog that had been with him for so many years, and the owner was deeply saddened.

The dog, after being injected with the medication, soon stopped breathing. Its owner held it, stroking it repeatedly, as if comforting it, saying, "It's okay, you won't feel pain anymore once you're asleep." Perhaps it was in its owner's arms that its expression was so peaceful. In its final moments, its beloved companion was by its side, so it had no regrets. It was as if it was telling its owner: "In the next life, I want to be your family again!"

Seeing this brings tears to my eyes. Anyone who owns a dog can truly understand. Their lives are only a short ten years or so. How heartbreaking it would be if they had to leave us! Treat your dog well while they're still with you. Don't wait until they're gone to regret not spending more time with them throughout their lives!
