On the streets of Thailand, a stray dog is suffering from illness. Locals know that this stray dog has a very special appearance.
Because its body was covered with tumors of all sizes, and there was even a huge tumor on its abdomen that dragged on the ground, the dog was unable to walk normally.
Although the dog's condition is well known, people are limited by their resources and cannot provide much help to the dog; they can only give it food from time to time to keep it alive.
Until the dog met a girl named Tana. Tana was passing by on the street when she saw the dog for the first time, and she was startled. She said she had never seen a dog like it before. The dog looked at Tana with eyes full of sadness, and at that moment Tana felt sorry for it.
After staring at the dog for a few minutes, and when her friends told Tana to leave, Tana made this great decision: she would adopt the dog.
Even though she couldn't predict whether it would survive, Tana still wanted to do something for it.
The dog was wary when Tana approached, but when Tana reached out to pet it, the dog instantly felt a warmth it had never experienced before.
It actually allowed Tana to approach and trusted her completely, then followed Tana to the veterinary hospital.
When the veterinarian saw the dog at the vet, he was surprised and said he had never seen a dog with so many tumors.
The veterinarian informed the dog that it had infectious venereal tumors, a common infectious disease in dogs. The transmission routes are generally through the mouth, nose, bite, scratch, and certain behaviors.
This disease is highly prevalent among stray dogs because they are not spayed/neutered, have poor hygiene and diet, and come into contact with too many other stray dogs, leading to infection.
The dog then underwent treatment. During the first tumor removal surgery, only the 10 largest tumors were removed due to the dog's malnutrition and physical condition.
As Tana waited for the dog to regain consciousness, she burst into tears, saying, "I know it's the bravest."
After the veterinarian removed the dog's large tumors, it was obvious that the dog felt much more relaxed. Watching it walk carefully, it must have been a long time since it felt this relaxed.
Soon the dog underwent a second surgery, this time to remove a malignant tumor. The two surgeries combined resulted in the removal of a tumor weighing 3 kilograms.
Looking at the dog, Tana, who is almost completely free of the tumor, she still needs careful care. The remaining tumor will be removed in 6-8 weeks.
The dog is currently recovering, and we believe that under Tana's loving care, it will have a joyful and free life in the future.
Tana's kind act has been praised by many locals. When asked why she chose to save the dog, she said, "I just wanted it to be less in pain. Every life deserves to be helped. Now that the dog is cured, it must be fate between them. Let's treat each other well!"
