Two cats were engrossed in watching "Tom and Jerry," and when Jerry appeared, they became even more focused on catching the mouse.

Tom and Jerry is a childhood memory for many. In the show, Tom doesn't seem to have ever eaten a mouse, but as a house cat, that's not shameful, since he caught Jerry a few times. After all, it's just a cartoon. But what if the audience were some other kinds of little creatures?

A cat owner invited his two kittens onto the table because he had just thought of this too: what if his own cats watched Tom and Jerry? What amazing things would happen?

The two kittens were immediately captivated by the "Tom and Jerry" cartoon, especially Tom, whose human-like movements gradually drew them in. In fact, many cats enjoy "watching TV" because they are always drawn to moving objects.

What was surprising was that after Jerry appeared, the cat owner couldn't explain what happened. There was no external interference, but when Jerry came out, both kittens made some movements at the same time. The little black cat, which was sitting a little further away, even took two steps forward.

"They might have realized that Jerry is a mouse," their owner explained. Perhaps the two kittens knew that Jerry was a mouse, but they weren't entirely sure, so the little black cat went over to observe him more closely.

"Hey bro, do you see that's a mouse?" the little white cat might have asked.

Then the little black cat went up and looked at it carefully, and then replied, "Are you hungry? How could it be a mouse? I think it's a rabbit."

Then the little white cat looked at it more closely: "I still think it looks like a mouse, and that cat too. We should learn its mouse-catching techniques."

Cats can distinguish things by their eyes. When they hunt, they first look for the scent of their prey, then lie in wait near the prey and observe them with their eyes. Once the prey relaxes its guard, they pounce.

A video of two kittens watching "Tom and Jerry" was posted online, and netizens found it very amusing. However, many cat owners have probably tried letting their cats watch "Tom and Jerry" as well. Many cats are very interested in television, but they don't actually know that Tom is a cat and Jerry is a mouse; they just find the moving images strange—they can't smell anything, yet they move.

Often, as soon as the TV is turned on, the cat will lie on the sofa, coffee table, or even on people, and then watch intently... the commercials. The first time the cat watched TV, it even ran to the TV and scratched at it with its paws, as if trying to pull the characters out of the screen.

Watching TV is a great way to pass the time for cats. The moving images and loud noises will attract their attention, and that's when the cat owner can pet them.

The editor would also like to remind all cat owners that cats have almost no fun in a small home. Many cat owners are working professionals, and the only thing we can do is to provide something for our cats to do during the 10 hours or even longer we are away. For example, turn on some music, or let the TV play for a while, or set a timer.
