In our understanding, dogs are loyal and affectionate animals. Their minds are always pure, and they are devoted to their owners. They can disregard their own safety and even sacrifice their lives for their companions and children.
A stray dog that often appears on the street has left a deep impression on the residents living nearby. It never causes any trouble for the residents, and everyone labels it as well-behaved and sensible.
This usually well-behaved dog has recently become agitated and restless, and no longer as affectionate as before, always keeping its distance from humans.
At night, the dog wandered the streets howling, its pitiful cries sending chills down people's spines. In response, everyone decided to investigate the dog's situation further.
Dog leads the way up the mountain
During the day, we finally saw the dog coming down from the mountain; it was rummaging through the trash can for food.
Startled, the dog quickly ran away. At this moment, everyone noticed that the dog's running movements were a bit strange; it was walking with one front paw raised, not daring to put it on the ground.
The residents quietly followed the dog and saw clearly what was wrapped around its body: a wire tightly binding its forelegs and neck, with a few traces of blood on its fur.
When the dog realized that the residents were following it, it suddenly stopped and looked at them from a distance. Then, as if tacitly approving of their following, it led them to a nearby mountain.
The residents thought about turning back halfway, assuming the dog just wanted to find a place to rest. But when the residents stopped, the dog barked at them, seemingly wanting to lead them there.
Cries from the pile of stones
Just then, another stray dog mother suddenly ran out to greet the puppy. The two dogs kissed each other and then ran into a pile of rocks.
The residents were stunned. Did their home live in a crack in the rock?
As everyone gathered around the pile of stones to observe, two dogs ran out again, barking at the stones as if to tell people, "There's something inside."
Everyone was very puzzled when they suddenly heard whimpering sounds coming from the cracks in the rocks. There were dogs in the pile of rocks, and more than one.
To rescue the dogs, shelter staff were called in, and cranes and excavators were deployed to move the stones.
The dog suddenly disappeared
With many hands making light work, the stones were quickly moved away, and the residents finally saw the dogs inside the stones—five puppies.
They were like newborn cubs, constantly whimpering and calling out, trying to find their mother.
However, their mother was watching from a distance during the rescue. Just as the puppies were about to be taken away, the mother dog appeared and was taken away as well, while the injured dog had already escaped.
Unable to find the dog, the staff had to give up and temporarily rescue the hungry pups.
Several days later, the rescue team received another call from residents. The dog that was entangled in wire had reappeared and had been caught by the residents.
A promising future
The dog was taken to a veterinary hospital. When the doctor examined its wounds, it trembled all over and resisted being touched. It only calmed down after being given anesthesia.
As the dog's fur was parted, what was revealed was that the wire was fused with the dog's flesh, and the bone was almost visible in its shoulder blade area.
It's hard for everyone to imagine how it has endured such pain to this day, and even dragged its injured body to guide people to rescue puppies. The dog's behavior is very touching.
The dog has been taken to a veterinary hospital for treatment. Due to the severity of its injuries, it will require a period of time to recover. In addition, a new family has expressed their willingness to adopt it. Finally, we hope that after this ordeal, the dog will have a happy life from now on.
