What was your reason for choosing to get a dog? Hearing this question, many pet owners would say that puppies are cute and they couldn't resist bringing one home. This is the reason why many pet owners get dogs, including myself.

But have you ever thought about what breed of dog you have, and whether it's suitable for you?

Simply put, puppies are cute and lovable, but they are different when they grow up. Some giant breeds can even weigh more than 120 pounds when they grow up.

The girl adopted a puppy and said she was so cute she cried.

A young woman named Yuma lives in South Africa. Four years ago, after graduating from university, she thought that since she was financially independent and had her own house, she should get a dog, as it had been her dream for many years.

So she went to a dog shelter, thinking that only adult dogs could be adopted there, but she was surprised to find that there were not only puppies that were two or three months old, but also newborn puppies.

She took a fancy to an adorable little "pom-pom".

After registering at the shelter, she took a liking to a sled dog with long fur. The staff told her that it was an Alaskan Malamute puppy, but it was only 5 weeks old and could only be adopted when it was 8 weeks old.

That would take about three weeks, but Yuma couldn't wait any longer. To fulfill her wish, she visited the shelter every day of her rest for the past three weeks.

Three weeks later, Yuma finally took away the puppy she wanted.

The girl brought home the dog she "fell in love with at first sight" and became a pet owner. She was very happy to have such a cute puppy, but she soon discovered a problem.

This little puppy was only 8 weeks old and weighed less than 4 pounds when it was adopted. But in just over a month, it has doubled in size, which is incredible to its owner.

The owner named the dog Tudy and used it as a hand warmer when the weather got cold.

As the dog grew bigger day by day, after half a year of raising it, the owner could hardly carry it anymore because the furry friend had grown to almost 40 pounds. The owner also discovered that the dog had one advantage: its fur felt very soft and warm to the touch.

The pet owner used to be very afraid of the cold, but now she has a hand warmer – her dog. Not only can it warm her hands, but it also makes her feel warm when she hugs her furry friend.

A year later, the dog weighed over 120 pounds.

The owner had agreed to get a puppy, but to their surprise, the dog grew to over 100 pounds. Although it was different from their initial idea, it didn't affect their love for Tudy.

Despite its large size, this dog is very gentle. What makes its owner particularly happy is that the dog loves children and never yells at them or acts rudely towards them.

When taking their dogs for a walk, some people say they own lions.

Hearing someone say that, the pet owner laughed. Although the pet only weighs a little over 120 pounds, and its heaviest weight is around 130 pounds, its fur is exceptionally long and reddish-brown, making it look quite like a lion.

This is a picture created by the owner using Photoshop. Doesn't it look like there's no trace of editing?

Four years have passed, and the dog is now over four years old.

The owner said that he had a very happy four years with his dog. By the time the dog was one and a half years old, it was almost 1.7 meters tall and taller than him when it stood up. Taking it out for walks was quite stressful.

Pet owner: People often ask me what breed this dog is, saying they've never seen such a big dog.

Aslajas are sled dogs, and their weight is generally around 70 to 80 pounds.

Despite their large size and lion-like appearance, they are like little children at heart. They not only love playing with children, but they are also quite clingy.

However, for safety reasons, children should not be allowed to approach unfamiliar Alaskan Malamutes, as the consequences could be dire if the dog becomes enraged.
