On June 24th in Guangyuan, Sichuan, a young woman stumbled upon a dog while shopping. It was a Samoyed, but it had clearly been a stray for some time; it was filthy and walked with a limp. In the sweltering summer heat, it seemed lost, and even when it tried to cool off in a shopping mall, it was chased away. The dog kept walking, and the woman followed behind, but it eventually disappeared, and she had no idea where it had gone.
Fortunately, a rescue organization contacted the girl, obtained her address, and began searching the vicinity. The Samoyed was subsequently adopted by a nearby pet shop. The pet shop had experience caring for dogs and would arrange treatment for the dog, making them a relatively reliable option. The rescue organization felt comfortable leaving the dog with them.
