Recently, after securing a new location for the Luzhou Zhong Sheng Yuan Small Animal Rescue Center, the center's director, Xu Qianwen, finally felt relieved and expressed her relief on WeChat Moments.

A light drizzle was falling from the sky. Near the Country Garden Phoenix Mansion residential area on Section 4 of Jiangnan Road in Jiangyang District, a reporter saw a gray Chinese rural dog soaked to the bone in the rain. It was shaking its body vigorously, seemingly trying to shake off the rain and mud. After shaking itself off, it suddenly darted out of the green belt, crossed the road, and ran to a trash can, sniffing it incessantly. When the reporter tried to approach it, offer it bread, and take a picture, it quickly ran away.

Less than 100 meters further on, the reporter spotted two stray dogs wandering along a side path. These two dogs, also Chinese rural dogs, had completely black fur and were foraging for food together. They occasionally stopped to look around, but unfortunately, there was nothing to eat by the roadside, so they had to continue their journey in the rain, searching for "food."

According to nearby residents, these dogs have been there for over ten days. No one knows where they came from or where they sleep at night; they've simply become strays. "This area is a newly developed residential area, and not far from there are farmlands and fields, so we don't know if they were abandoned here or if they ran away from the countryside," the residents said. No one knows where they came from; some residents give them food, while others keep their distance.

"Seeing these dogs running around on the roadside undoubtedly poses a safety hazard to everyone. Occasionally, we also see their excrement, which affects environmental hygiene." Mr. Zhou, a resident of Country Garden Phoenix Mansion, believes that the appearance of stray dogs has brought some "trouble".
