In a small town, locals often see a dog wandering around a garbage can. The place always smells bad because of the garbage that has been piled up there for years, but the dog doesn't care.
In such harsh conditions, one can only think, "This is a stray dog, wandering around here in search of food to fill its stomach."
Therefore, many kind-hearted people bring leftover food from home to feed the dogs. They originally thought the dogs would eat all the food brought by people, but strangely, the dogs were unmoved by the food.
As evening approached, the dog remained by the trash can as usual, its eyes fixed on one direction.
Just as a man came along carrying trash, the dog suddenly stood up. It was very excited and wagged its tail at the man, who gently stroked it.

When Xiaohu was 3 months old, it was already very attached to its owner. Every day when its owner went to take out the trash, it insisted on following along. Later, due to work reasons, the owner had no time to take care of Xiaohu and had to send it to his mother's house to be raised. His mother's house was 1.5 kilometers away from the owner's house.
The night after the owner sent Xiaohu away, he went to take out the trash and was surprised to find Xiaohu waiting for him there. The owner would play with Xiaohu there for a while every day. Afterwards, Xiaohu would obediently go back to his mother's house.
Every day, rain or shine, Little Tiger insists on walking 1.5 kilometers to the trash can to wait for its owner.
But one time, the owner didn't take out the trash as scheduled, and Little Tiger waited there all night.
When the owner found out, he was touched by Xiaohu's behavior, knowing that Xiaohu was never late.
From then on, the owner would go out to throw out the trash on time no matter the weather, so his family often joked that he had more "dates" with Xiaohu than with his wife.
Despite being so punctual, Little Tiger was late once. When his owner went to the garbage dump that day and didn't see Little Tiger, he became nervous, worried that Little Tiger had been in a car accident on the way, so he searched along the road.
When they were halfway there, they saw Xiaohu rushing towards them from afar. However, the owner noticed something was wrong with Xiaohu. It seemed that its left front leg was afraid to put down and that it had to lift itself up to walk. It was clearly struggling a lot with only three legs supporting its body.
Even so, Little Tiger still ran to see its owner and helped take out the trash. Thinking Little Tiger was injured, the owner immediately checked for wounds. Fortunately, Little Tiger hadn't been in a car accident. Still not reassured, the owner took Little Tiger to get a medical checkup.
The veterinarian said that the tiger cub has an age-related disease; its body is deteriorating and it needs more nutrition and rest.
The owner knew that Xiaohu had persisted in seeing him for so many years and had come to regard it as indispensable, so he would not stop it. They would continue their agreement and let Xiaohu live happily.
The story of Xiaohu and his owner may not be dramatic, but it's enough to express their deep affection. In fact, every dog deserves to be loved; they are all heartwarming little angels.
