Generally, kittens have a high chance of survival if cared for by their mother, as the mother cat takes care of everything, including grooming, feeding, and keeping them warm. Even without a mother cat, they can survive if someone helps and cares for them well, just like this woman. After encountering a newborn kitten, she rescued it and, through her efforts, helped it survive.
This woman is a kind-hearted person and a volunteer for rescuing stray animals. She spends her free time helping stray animals, rescuing those in need without hesitation. This is partly because she feels it's her duty, and partly because she loves animals and can't bear to ignore them.
When the woman first encountered the stray kitten, it was only one day old, practically a newborn. The kitten was lying motionless by the roadside, a tiny, lifeless ball. Luckily, the woman had good eyesight and spotted it. Without hesitation, she checked on the kitten, deciding that if it was alive, she would save it; if not, she would bury it.
After checking, the woman found the kitten was still alive and warm, so she picked it up and took it home. The kitten, nestled comfortably in her arms, fell asleep. Because the woman regularly rescues cats, she had some formula at home and gave the kitten some. The kitten was very hungry and drank the formula voraciously. She also gave the kitten a thick blanket to keep it warm.
The woman set an alarm to wake up every two hours to nurse the kitten. Although it was a bit tiring, she didn't mind. Under her careful care, the kitten recovered and became very energetic. After more than ten days, it finally opened its eyes, though it was still tiny; the woman could hold it in one hand.
Because the cat had gotten used to the woman's scent, it regarded her as its mother. After opening its eyes, it became even more clingy, meowing whenever it couldn't see the woman. The woman felt sorry for it, so she placed a blanket on her chest for the kitten to stay in, which calmed the kitten down and allowed it to sleep peacefully.
The kitten is now growing up healthily under the woman's care. This is the first time the woman has ever picked up such a small kitten and raised it with great care, so she can't bear to give it away. Besides, it's her only kitten, and she's happy to keep it.
This is a good ending; the kitten has a home, and the woman has companionship. Kudos to the woman! Of course, there are many volunteers like her; they are all very kind-hearted, and we applaud them too. We also hope that everyone can show more kindness and help stray animals when they encounter difficulties.
