This young man encountered a very troublesome situation on his way to run errands. A dog was tied up tightly on an electric scooter.
Upon inquiry, it was learned that the owner intended to send the dog to a dog meat restaurant, saying they no longer wanted to keep it. The owner did not elaborate on the specific reasons.
The young man felt particularly disheartened by this situation. After all, he had raised the dog to adulthood, and no matter the reason, it shouldn't have been sold. Perhaps to prevent the dog from barking too loudly, its mouth was taped shut.
So when the young man looked at the dog, he could clearly see despair and helplessness in its eyes. The owner who had raised it from a puppy was now pushing it into the abyss.
The young man knew that if he didn't rescue the dog, it would most likely die. So he discussed with the owner about buying the dog himself at a reasonable price.
Upon hearing what the young man said, the owner thought that selling it to a dog meat restaurant was the same as selling it to him, so it didn't matter.
Then the dog was handed over to the young man. The dog even had tears in its eyes the moment it was rescued. Yes, finally it could live, no longer being treated as meat food for snacks. The young man said to the dog: "Come on, come home with me."
The first thing the guy did when he brought the dog home was to give it a bowl of water. "Glug glug," the dog started drinking furiously. In just a few seconds, it had finished the bowl completely, looking like it hadn't had water in a long time.
The young man's heart clenched. How could they not even give their dog water? While furious, he silently vowed never to let his dog do this again. Thankfully, the dog was perfectly healthy.
Because he had many dogs at home, he was worried that this dog might have other infectious diseases that could affect the other dogs. So, the young man took the dog to be tested for infectious diseases. Fortunately, although the dog was malnourished, it was still relatively healthy.
The dog is doing relatively well at the moment. The young man usually cooks for the dog himself and often takes it out to play.
Hopefully, we can pull it out of the shadows.
