The dog below is named Max. He is 17 years old this year (equivalent to 119 years old in human years). He is deaf, mute and almost blind, but he has become a superhero.

On April 20th, around 3 PM, a 3-year-old girl named Aurora went missing in the woods in Queensland, Australia. When her family discovered that Aurora was missing and searched without success, they immediately called the police.

Nearly 200 people began a thorough search. It was already dark, and then it started raining heavily, making the rescue work even more difficult. They couldn't find Aurora all night.

It wasn't until 10 a.m. the next morning that the rescuers heard a faint sound. When they got closer, they immediately saw the elderly Max and, with Max's help, successfully found Aurora.

Aurora was unharmed and perfectly healthy. Clearly, Max had stayed by her side all night, keeping her warm and keeping her company through the cold, rainy night.

As dawn broke, Max, who had heard voices, ran out and led the search and rescue team to Aurora.

It turns out that when Aurora went out to play that day, Max followed her the whole time, so she wandered aimlessly up the mountain with the dog and got lost.

Max never let Aurora leave his side. After they found shelter from the rain, Aurora cuddled with the dog for warmth throughout the night...

The dog's heroic actions moved the entire internet, and the local police department even made an exception and recruited Max as an honorary police dog.

Upon learning of this, netizens praised Max, saying: "Heroes don't necessarily wear capes or have superpowers. Even though he's just a little kid, he can still do things that deserve respect and admiration."
