Golden Retrievers have always been beloved pets. International media surveys have consistently ranked them first or second in popularity among dogs. Their handsome appearance and perfect temperament make them one of the most popular pets, often delighting their owners with a big smile – because their owner's happiness makes them happy too!
The loyalty and affection shown by Golden Retrievers have always touched people.
This golden retriever is named Kaka. A year ago, its owner impulsively brought it home from the dog market. The owner lives in the company's staff dormitory, which presents many inconveniences for raising a dog. However, Kaka seems to be very sensible and seems to be able to sense the owner's difficulties, so it is not as naughty as other puppies. Even when it wanders around, it is very careful.
Even though Kaka was very well-behaved, it still got hungry and cold. Because its owner often worked night shifts and frequently forgot to feed Kaka, it would cry loudly at night, disturbing its colleagues' rest. Over time, more and more people complained to the management. There was no way around it; keeping a pet in the dormitory was already against regulations, but everyone had turned a blind eye. Now, because of Kaka's behavior, the management banned anyone from keeping dogs in the company. So, the owner, left with no other choice, considered getting rid of Kaka.
And so, Kaka, who had lived with its owner for over a month, was abandoned by its owner in a car and taken to a faraway place. Kaka was incredibly excited the whole way, thinking its owner was taking it out to play. Although the owner was also very reluctant, they couldn't afford to lose their job because of Kaka. Since their company was located in a relatively remote area, the owner even took a bus to a more developed and busier area, hoping that a kind person would take it in and prevent it from ending up on the streets.
But to everyone's surprise, Kaka miraculously returned the next day, exhausted and lying listlessly in the yard, looking extremely weary. He must have been running around all day, his whole body covered in dirt. When his owner came running at the sound of his footsteps, Kaka saw him and struggled to his feet, his expression one of profound sadness. Perhaps he was wondering why his owner had abandoned him…
The owner was heartbroken to see this, but had no choice but to abandon it the next day for work. That day, the owner fed Kaka well, gave it a bath, and carried it back to its bed to sleep that night. Kaka seemed afraid of being abandoned again and didn't dare to sleep all night, constantly peeking out to look at its owner.
The next day, Zizai embarked on its journey of being abandoned by its owner again, whimpering sadly the whole way. Halfway there, its owner couldn't bear to abandon it again, so after much difficulty, they found a home and gave Kaka away, telling the family to take good care of Kaka and be careful it didn't run away. The family, seeing it was a Golden Retriever, was naturally delighted and happily took Kaka in. At parting, Kaka watched its owner's departing figure and barked loudly.
This time, Kaka didn't come back, and the owner was relieved, thinking that the family had taken good care of Kaka. However, on the third day, the family called to tell the owner, "I advise you to come and pick up this dog as soon as possible. Since you brought it here, it has only drunk a little water in the past three days, and it won't eat anything. If this continues, the dog will die." The owner felt deeply ashamed, never expecting Kaka to be so loyal.
Later, the unit leaders heard about this and were moved. They immediately decided that rules are made by people, and Kaka could be taken back to the dormitory.
The Golden Retriever has grown up now, but its loyalty since it was a puppy is still often talked about.
This is a true story between a human and a Golden Retriever. Perhaps no one would imagine that a Golden Retriever could be so loyal from a young age, because those who don't understand haven't experienced separation. Once you've experienced it, you'll understand. A dog is loyal to only one owner for life. No matter how bad the environment, once you bring it home, it recognizes you and will remain loyal to you for life.
