On a roadside corner, a small stray dog sat there, its eyes filled with confusion and bewilderment. Fortunately, a rescue organization found it and immediately took it away.
The rescue was difficult. We were afraid of scaring it, afraid it would suddenly run away or escape, especially since there were many cars on the road nearby, and danger could occur at any moment, the rescuers said.
Although we are only a few meters away from it, we still have to wait until it feels more comfortable, relaxed, and accustomed to our presence before we can get close to it.
After an hour-long standoff, the little guy finally came with us obediently and even gave us a warm handshake. At that moment, my heart melted.
Rescuers took the 6-month-old puppy to the vet. The little guy had multiple injuries, a severe skin condition, and was covered in fleas.
The medical staff treated it with special medications, gave it medicated baths, fed it delicious food, and provided it with extra love and care. The little guy quickly showed significant improvement.
