A pet owner in China was driving through a suburb when he suddenly noticed a tricycle parked on the side of the road with an uncle squatting next to it. The area was remote and deserted, and the tricycle looked very strange. It didn't have a carriage, but a huge iron cage was welded to the back, and there was a golden retriever inside the cage.

The pet owner sensed something was wrong, so he got out of the car to ask. The man said the car was broken and couldn't be repaired immediately, so he had to wait for help. The pet owner then asked what happened to the dog in the car.

Uncle: This is a dog ordered by the dog meat restaurant. They need it for tomorrow, so I'm delivering it to them today.

The uncle's nonchalant reply sent chills down the pet owner's spine. Only then did the pet owner realize that the vehicle was a slaughterhouse. After understanding the reason, the pet owner looked at the golden retriever inside the vehicle. The dog was very quiet and did not struggle at all, but the dog's eyes were very pitiful, as if it knew its fate and had resigned itself to its destiny.

With some time still needed before the car was repaired, the owner opened the cage to carefully observe the dog. But the moment the cage was opened, the owner discovered that the Golden Retriever was actually crying! Yes, shedding tears just like a human.

Seeing the dog crying so hard, the owner suggested that the dog get out of the car so he could take a closer look at it. The man was silent for a moment before agreeing.

After getting out of the car, the dog seemed to see hope and kept wagging its tail at its owner, pressing its head tightly against the owner's leg, as if it had grasped a lifeline. The owner also noticed that the dog was crying even harder.

When the owner checked the dog, they found that it was fine except for being a little dirty, but its belly was very big. The owner asked the man if the dog was pregnant, but the man insisted that it was not pregnant and was just fat!

But by this point, the pet owner had completely lost trust in the man. After a moment of silence, the pet owner told the man that he wanted to buy the golden retriever. After the man made a few phone calls, the two agreed on a price, and the pet owner paid for the golden retriever.

Because the dog was so dirty, the owner took the Golden Retriever to a nearby veterinary hospital to give it a bath. However, the veterinarian refused, saying that the dog's large belly might actually indicate pregnancy and that an ultrasound was needed. The ultrasound later confirmed that the Golden Retriever was indeed pregnant.

The dog was pregnant and couldn't be bathed, so the owner brought the Golden Retriever home that day. To their surprise, the dog gave birth the very next day, producing eight puppies, but one died. Currently, the mother dog and the puppies are all doing well!

This golden retriever, rescued from a slaughterhouse, gave birth to eight puppies, all of whom are purebred golden retrievers.

This only proves one thing: this Golden Retriever had a previous owner who had planned for her to have puppies, but the dog got lost after becoming pregnant. Since people generally wouldn't sell a pregnant purebred dog, it must have been found after getting lost. However, the person who found her didn't know she was pregnant. Even more tragically, even a purebred dog like a Golden Retriever was still sold to a slaughterhouse!

Therefore, never take any chances when raising a dog. Don't think that just because your dog is obedient, you don't need to use a leash. And don't think that just because your dog is a purebred, it won't be in danger even if it gets lost.

Your dog is your precious darling when it's with you. Once it leaves you, it's hard to say what others will think of it. If you truly love your dog, always put it on a leash when you take it out and never let it out of your sight! Preventing it from getting lost is the best protection.
