This is a beautiful story.
A woman lost her beloved dog...
The dog's name was Abu, and he was 16 years old. A week ago, Abu passed away due to illness, and his owner was very sad.
The owner buried Abu's ashes under the cherry blossom tree in front of the building, hoping that Abu could always be with him.
Abu loved playing on the balcony at home, so his food and water bowls were kept there. Because his owner was very reluctant to part with Abu, he still kept filling his bowl with dog food and changed it every day, hoping that Abu would come home one day.
Unexpectedly, on the seventh night after Abu left, the owner discovered that the dog food that had been poured out was half empty!
Her eyes instantly welled up with tears: "We live on the tenth floor, where no stray animals can come up. We've never seen any birds come to eat our dog food before, so... it must be Abu who's back!"
Perhaps, to reassure its owner, Abu went home and had a good meal before leaving...
