In Northeast China, there was a dog lover whose stray dog rescue station already housed more than 180 stray dogs. He received a call from a man who had found a golden retriever puppy and wanted to bring it to his rescue station. Although he was worried that the puppy might be infected with a contagious disease, he still asked the man to take it to a veterinary hospital first. However, the man kept persuading him, so he took the puppy directly to the rescue station. Fortunately, he did not put the puppy in the rescue station immediately, but chose to take it to a veterinary hospital first.

It lay pitifully in the car.

During a routine trip to the vet with a friend, the vet immediately recognized the little golden retriever. The vet told him that a man had checked the dog that morning, and it turned out the golden retriever had been cross-infected! Upon hearing this, Huang was furious. If Huang were taken to his rescue center, it could be a disaster for the more than 180 dogs there… Realizing how irresponsible it was to send Huang to his brother's place, Huang even suspected the dog wasn't his brother's, or had been abandoned by a pet shop…

Meanwhile, his companion, upon hearing this, immediately angrily urged him to contact the man who had taken him to the rescue center. However, his first thought was to take him to a veterinary hospital for treatment, as he was worried about the situation. During the transfer, the veterinarian asked, "Was the Golden Retriever checked here?" "He came this morning, examined you, and I said you were cured, it would cost about two hundred yuan a day," the veterinarian paused briefly, then continued, "He said he knew you, and then he took you there..."

Upon hearing this, the young man immediately became furious: "How is this any help to me?! I called him this morning, and he said he found a dog…" "He found one!" a veterinarian confirmed for the man, but then added, "Then they did the tests, and it turned out to be parvovirus and coronavirus…" After hearing the veterinarian's words, the young man suspected it was a golden retriever abandoned by a local pet shop: "Left there again, another one abandoned by a pet shop!" "Who knows…" the veterinarian wasn't sure either…

After a while, Mr. Huang told the veterinarian that they were willing to cover the dog's treatment costs and asked them to take Mr. Huang to the vet for treatment first. His companion, somewhat angry after hearing this, urged Mr. Huang to call his older brother. After dealing with the matter, Mr. Huang did contact his brother. Upon reaching his brother, Mr. Huang, still shaken, said, "Look at your dog… you really went too far, buddy! You can't take this anymore! Bring that dog back to me; I don't even know you (you haven't told me about this)..."

And the first thing my older brother said after hearing this was, "Aren't you going to the rescue station?!" Hearing this, I got even angrier: "I'm from the rescue station! Let me tell you, don't go to the shelter to send dogs. It doesn't matter if you're sending them to a veterinary hospital. If I come to the veterinary hospital and they say the dog's been checked, I'll go to the shelter. What if 180 dogs at the shelter are infected? Do you love dogs or not? This makes a huge difference whether they live or die. What if the shelter's dogs are infected? Aren't you destroying me? Yes, and when my older brother told them to go, he had already separated them from the other guys. Upon hearing this, one of the guys immediately replied, 'This stuff is contagious even in the air…' And I could only helplessly facepalm…"

After the meeting, he slowly asked the dog, "I only have one question: where did you put it?" The older man seemed to realize he hadn't done things properly before, and slowly said, "I work for an insurance company. It's on our floor. Go out and check on the dog; it's under a car. Go over and see, okay?" Later, we went over and saw the little dog all alone there, looking very pitiful...

The veterinarian prepared a cage for it.

Hearing his older brother's words, he could only sigh again, listening to his brother's endless thanks. He then asked the veterinarian to take him for treatment, and could only say, "I have a kind heart, and I also need to ensure the safety of the dogs at my shelter!" After that, he and his companions discussed the matter and summarized the older brother's previous communications, concluding that the older brother didn't want to spend the money, so he gave it to them... Seeing how his brother handled it, he shook his head helplessly...

After checking upstairs, I found the pet hospital was under renovation, but there was still enough space for a kitten. To prevent the kittens at the rescue center from getting sick, even though they looked at me pitifully, I could only pity them and try to be strong, not daring to pet or comfort them… And the kittens didn't complain: "What do the kittens mean… what am I doing this for?" Then, looking at the constantly busy veterinarian, I said to him, "If he's cured… then it's in your hands… please do your best. If he's not cured, we'll have to treat him…"

Moreover, the little guy's companions, seeing him desperately trying to save the dogs, couldn't help but feel sorry for him: "There used to be a pet hospital here, and now another one has come... At this rate, we'll run into several more. If we don't abandon them in front of that pet store, and they find out they're sick, slap! You've thrown all the cages out the door, so what? You're not morally upright if you don't save them... He doesn't have to be saved..." Despite their complaints, they ultimately couldn't bear to see the dogs die in front of them, so they decided to rescue them...
