With their handsome appearance and quirky expressions, Huskies have successfully become internet celebrities in the canine world. Many people have come to know and love these little guys. However, many newcomers to Huskies wonder why they can't be police dogs. This is because Huskies have bloodlines closest to wolves and a wolf-like appearance, which should make them quite intelligent. It seems these are people unfamiliar with Huskies; they probably haven't heard of their nickname, "Silly Husky."
Although Huskies are very close to wolves in blood and appearance, the only difference lies in their temperament. Wolves are intelligent and brave, while Huskies are endearingly goofy. This small difference, though seemingly minor, contributes to the many differences between Huskies and wolves. One pet owner then used a simple example to demonstrate why Huskies cannot be used as police dogs.
That little thing was getting the husky to wake me up, because that would expose the husky's biggest problem: it's easily assimilated. When the husky first arrived, it was quite dedicated. Seeing that howling at its owner didn't work, it simply ran onto the bed and started its physical wake-up method, stepping all over the owner and howling in the owner's ear in an attempt to wake them up.
After playing for a while, the husky saw that its owner wasn't reacting and probably got tired of playing, so it lay down next to its owner and secretly looked out the door, seemingly lost in thought.
After spacing out for a while, the husky probably remembered that it still had the task of waking its owner up, so it started howling at its owner again. However, the husky was clearly not very enthusiastic at this time, because its eyes were almost closed.
Sure enough, after a while, the husky fell asleep again, sleeping even more soundly than its owner. It's clear that huskies are easily assimilated; even something as simple as waking someone up was handled so easily. Imagine if they were police dogs; it would be troublesome if they reached an agreement with the enemy during a mission, since huskies are not very stable.
